What you’ll do:
In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, build customer relationships, and drive growth for our Home and Building Supplies division. You’ll contribute to strategy, manage customer accounts, and work toward ambitious sales and financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and execute strategies in alignment with our overall plan.
• Provide expert advice on building materials and project needs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and contractors.
• Manage financial performance, inventory control, and operations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain the confidentiality required of the position and demonstrate high business ethics.
• Represent Moose Jaw Co-op in the community and uphold our values.

Who you are:

You are a results-oriented leader with experience in building supplies, retail, or a related field. You are customer-focused and committed to excellence, both in service and operations.

• Management experience in building supplies, retail, or similar industries.
• Strong financial skills with a history of meeting targets.
• Ability to anticipate market trends and customer needs.
• Possession of a relevant trade journeyman certificate is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in Estimation, Lumber, or Building Supplies are sought.
• Education in Business, Construction Management, or related fields is an asset.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and estimation tools.
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on team development and customer service.
• Some travel may be required.
